So far so good. Un-installed pretty much everything as it’s android 9 and honestly not safe for web browsing. But i’m using this to build an off the grid audio book/mp3 player for my siblings.
The bluetooth headphones i have are jabra and they are fine when the player is stationary, but very crackly when in the back pocket and walking.
The battery did get hot when i first turned it on but i think it might have been b.c the screen was on?
I installed vlc media player for the bookmark function for the books.
But every time you turn on the player, the hiby music app is re installed after un installing it.

This is a very good player. I prefer to change the software to musicolet though, it’s lightweight and a bit easier to use on a small display. Sound quality is very good if you use good headphones – don’t use cheap ones, you’ll be disappointed. Battery life seems to be reasonable. I did have problems with the bluetooth connection at one point, but i think it was because of surrounding metalwork. I loaded the soundcore app but i couldn’t get it to run – probably not enough memory. I’ve not used streaming on it as that’s not what i bought it for.
